Bookmark Data: When you initiate organization, your bookmark titles and URLs are temporarily sent to AI providers (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or OpenAI) for categorization. This data is used solely for the AI processing and is not stored on our servers.
API Keys: If you provide your own API key for AI services, it is stored locally in Chrome's extension storage and is only transmitted directly to the respective AI provider. We never have access to your API keys.
Extension Settings: Your preferences (theme, AI provider selection, folder locks) are stored locally in Chrome storage and may sync across your Chrome instances if you have Chrome sync enabled.

3. Third-Party AI Services

Our extension relies on third-party AI services to categorize your bookmarks. When you use the organization feature, bookmark data is sent to one of the following providers based on your selection:

Google Gemini (Google's AI service)
Anthropic Claude (Claude's AI service)
OpenAI GPT (OpenAI's AI service)

Each provider processes data according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before using their services through our extension.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties
We do not have a backend server that stores your bookmarks
